WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
We are expanding our hardware engineering team in the Galileo project, the European satellite constellation for positioning and navigation. In the hardware team you will contribute to the design of the ground control equipment that coordinates the behaviour of the fleet, performing activities of definition, documentation, supervision and verification of computer systems. The team also manages the purchase and monitoring of new hardware assets, the planning of tasks of external support teams (assembly, deployment), inspections, certifications, and support to other teams (engineering, networks, cybersecurity) in technical consultations.
- Participate in the design of IT racks.
- Analysis of compliance with both technical and project execution requirements.
- Verification of compliance with European regulations and standards for IT systems.
- Supervision and inspection of the work of multidisciplinary teams (installations, logistics, inspections, dismantling) in the factory and at the customer’s premises.
- Management of hardware (models, quantities, types, suppliers, etc.) in the purchase, installation and deployment phase.
- Management of materials (cabling, connectors, auxiliary equipment, components, etc.).
- Generation of project documentation (word, excel, visio).
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for experts in IT systems with a background and interest in:
- Experience in IT projects.
- Knowledge of IT standards (UNE, DIN, …).
- Experience in IT systems integration in clients.
- Knowledge of auxiliary systems (KVM, monitoring racks and equipment, energy management, communications panels, …).
