Our B+P team is growing in Madrid and we are looking to hire a new colleague, as a Project Leader for the MEP area.
In this role, you will be actively involved in the development of projects and the firm, focused on the highest quality in design and construction key international projects worldwide, from Madrid.
This strategic hands-on leader will have the opportunity to drive, mentor, challenge and engage colleagues and clients, alike to elevate design and unlock the potential of each project.
These will be some of your functions in the role:
* Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery.
* Plan, manage and communicate end-to-end project plans with all stakeholders (both, external and internal).
* Perform day to day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality.
* Identify risks, gaps and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution.
* Build strong relationships with our international clients.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and strategic engineer, advancing AECOM’s objectives through strong project management, client engagement, staff mentorship, and collaboration with all team members.
We are looking to hire an experienced leader with:
* More than 10 years progressive project and client leadership, with proven experience with Mechanical setup (e.g., utility and energy supply, cooling, heating, compressed air) installations for international and complex projects.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and mentor with a proven track record of success working with different stakeholders.
* Previous experience completing large projects with good results.
* Business English skills (Proficient/Bilingual Level)
* Use of other languages is desirable
* Significant understanding of financial components and budget’s management.
Preferred Qualifications
* Professional Degree in Industrial engineering or equivalent. Mechanical or electrical especialties preferred.
