The role has a hybrid setup of 2 days per week on‑site.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAs an expert in MES data platforms, you will lead initiatives to enhance system capabilities and act as a technical consultant.Design, build, and maintain data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka to ensure continuous improvement.Implement changes such as installations, configurations, and updates in a validated GMP environment.Monitor platform performance, resolve availability issues, and ensure secure and compliant operations.Automate tasks and develop self‑service tools to support Kafka environment management.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate Kafka into the AWS‑based Dataland ecosystem.Engage with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and mentor junior team members.RequirementsMaster’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related scientific field.Several years of proven work experience in an international IT environment paired with a proven track record in project management and stakeholder engagement.Profound knowledge in system engineering and consulting within manufacturing IT.Strong knowledge in Apache Kafka, data streaming, ETL processes, and related programming tools.Experience w
