O Castro British International School is a happy, inclusive and successful school in Vigo, Spain with over 700 students in Primary and Secondary. We follow the National Curriculum for England and the Cambridge International Curriculum for KS3 in English, Maths and Science and IGCSE and A Levels. O Castro is part of the Globeducate group and with this brings opportunities both in network/professional development for staff and educationally for students. O Castro British School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our team: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and deliver engaging and accessible Mathematics lessons in line with the British curriculum, ensuring strong coverage of number, algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem‑solving skills. Teach primarily across Key Stage 3, helping students build secure foundations for future GCSE study. Regularly assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and understanding. Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of high-quality teaching resources. Support enrichment activities such as maths clubs, competitions, or numeracy initiatives. Maintain a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in mathematics. REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. C1/C2 level of English. Degree in Mathematics or a related field. Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting. Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and relevant exam boards. WHAT WE OFFER
