Job Description
Mattel is seeking to hire an Associate Manager HR Business Partner supporting an employee base of 80 people across Spain & Portugal locations. This role involves supporting the delivery of the people strategy with the support of EMEA region centers of expertise in Talent and Compensation & Benefits.
The HR organization is undergoing a transformation to become a strategic partner. We are looking for a progressive, innovative, and commercially-focused individual to help build capability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support People Managers on policies, procedures, and employee relations issues throughout the employee experience cycle.
2. Build an HR function that delivers top-tier service to employees.
3. Embed new processes, enhance team capability, and ensure high-quality service delivery in payroll, operations, and administration.
4. Manage Employee Relations activities and maintain positive relationships.
5. Drive culture change initiatives to energize and engage employees.
6. Participate in and embed a culture of talent reviews, compensation, development, and succession planning across Iberia.
7. Oversee resourcing strategies, promoting diversity and inclusion.
8. Manage onboarding and induction processes.
9. Collaborate with HR and business teams to provide responsive HR services.
10. Identify and implement HR initiatives aligned with business priorities.
11. Support full recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
12. Develop and implement employee engagement activities.
13. Prepare legal documents such as hiring letters and contract changes.
14. Track probation, staff dates, and manage absences and leaves.
15. Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure timely wages.
16. Manage employee benefits, including insurance packages.
17. Maintain accurate HR records in compliance with legislation.
18. Promote and embody Mattel values across all HR activities.
