Job Description
We seek a passionate techie who is willing to take responsibility and share expertise with others. Cognizant Netcentric may feel like home if you develop and want to develop together with us. AEM sparks your curiosity.
You'll be responsible for the entire delivery of a project. You'll work closely with the project manager to ensure delivery exceeding client expectations.
* Define solution architecture, interact with client architects.
* Write and refine technical specifications, provide effort estimations for requirements.
* Lead development team (distributed among various locations), review code, coach, and guide.
* Respect infrastructure requirements, synchronize with project lead system engineer.
* Ensure quality and performance requirements are met, synchronize with test manager.
* Release management.
* Develop critical parts of systems.
* Ensure reliable work environment for developers (IDE setup, Maven, CICD, Docker, SonarQube).
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with AEM.
* Experience leading a team, both technically and people management.
* Great communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with technical and business users.
* Strong knowledge of Java, especially in web projects.
* Strong capacity to identify requirements, define technical solutions.
* Extensive experience leading Java-based web projects.
* Knowledge of patterns and good practices to design and develop quality and clean code.
* Experience developing RESTful Web Services.
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, including frameworks like Vue or React.
* Experience with testing at all levels: unit, integration, functional, and performance.
* Ability to extend existing products, leverage their APIs to create customized web experience.
* Familiarity with build tools, including Maven.
* Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git.
* Familiarity with task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA.
* Strong verbal/written English and Spanish language skills.
* Proactive mindset, ability to share ideas and bring them to life.

* Receiving and giving feedback is familiar, something you're not afraid of.
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience with Test Driven Development.
* Familiarity with Java Content Repository API (Jackrabbit/CRX).
* Knowledge of OSGi and its Declarative Services.
* Ability to extend existing products, leverage their APIs to create customized web experience.
* Experience in professional development environments, such as Eclipse IDE.
