Job Description
The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is one of the key roles within the Financial Accounting team responsible for delivering month‑end accounting entries that impact Balance Sheets and P&L. This position plays a critical part in the company's month‑end close process resulting in complete and accurate financial statements.
Job Requirements
* Advanced knowledge of accounting
* Knowledge in SAP
* Knowledge of MS office (Excel)
* Communicative knowledge of English

* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail
* Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with a can‑do attitude
Job Responsibilities
* Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts to general ledger; investigating more complex discrepancies and determining appropriate course of action
* Developing spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries to keep records organized and standardized
* Participating in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
* Collaborating in the preparation and execution of accounting audits
* Cooperating with internal and external partners such as auditors, tax advisors, local authorities, and other departments
* Participating in special projects by supporting management and project teams in various tasks
* Providing support in tax‑related tasks and compliance with tax obligations
* Collaborating with other departments, providing support on Finance‑related tasks and needs
