The role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and deploy analytical and machine‑learning solutions that solve complex business challenges. You will transform datasets into clear, actionable insights and partner with Data Engineering to scale models into production. You will also support stakeholders with data‑driven recommendations and contribute to team development through mentoring.
What you’ll do:
* Statistical Modelling, Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics. Build, test, and deploy econometric or ML/statistical models; develop predictive models for forecasting behaviour, demand, or ROI; develop segmentation and clustering models; create algorithms to automate insights or decisions; evaluate model performance and refine based on diagnostics.
* Experimentation & Causal Inference. Design and evaluate experiments to estimate price elasticity at product or category level; assess effects of price changes on customer behaviour; explore cross‑elasticities between products and substitute goods.
* Specific Activities for Marketing mix modelling and Price Elasticity. Simulate multiple business scenarios using elasticity curves, MMM‑based channel response curves, seasonality, and other macro factors.
* Data Visualization, Story‑telling & Stakeholder Communication. Translate insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders; promote analytics best practices and data literacy.

What will make you a great fit?
* 3–6 years of applied data science experience, with proficiency in Python, SQL, and core ML/statistical methods.
* Ability to turn complex business questions into experiments and actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Bonus Points If You have:
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), big data tools, and CI/CD/Git for MLOps.
* Expertise in pricing/SRM (elasticity, PPA, promo analytics) with exposure to eCommerce analytics.
* Strong data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI) to turn insights into compelling decision assets.
* Background in FMCG; exposure to consumer health/pharma and prior mentoring/coaching experience.
