**Description**:
The position requires a motivated, technically qualified Senior ML Engineer with the ability to coordinate work between multiple teams across different time zones and geographical locations. You have a strong understanding of ML evaluation strategies, software lifecycle, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You will help drive innovation and set a high-quality bar for Apple Intelligence, working closely with development teams to define evaluation strategies and efficiently execute them.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, designing, developing and executing quality evaluation plans.
- Experience crafting evaluation datasets and strategies for ML-based products.
- Ability to make progress on multiple tasks at the same time while ensuring tasks are complete in high quality within deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills on large cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience validating the performance and scalability of machine learning models in a production setting for large-scale distributed systems.
- Good understanding of software development and QE life cycle.
- Ability to lead and influence evaluation initiatives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field. PhD in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence is preferred.
