Are you a technically strong and finance-savvy ERP expert? Join a forward-thinking public university’s digital transformation journey as a Senior Business Systems Analyst / Developer, supporting and enhancing finance systems, primarily Unit4 ERP.
This fully remote role is ideal for someone based in Spain who enjoys a mix of development, support, and collaboration with Finance, IT, and Audit teams. You’ll lead on integrations, automation, and continuous improvement across critical financial platforms.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and maintain the Unit4 ERP financial system
* Lead system integrations, process automation, and improvement initiatives
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to Finance and IT teams
* Collaborate closely with auditors and stakeholders to ensure compliance and performance
* Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation
Tech & Tools You'll Work With
* ERP: Unit4 ERP
* Languages/Queries: SQL, Excel
* Integrations: APIs
* Reporting: Information Browser, Excelerator, ARC/Xtra
* Methodologies: Agile, ITIL (support), Prince2 (a plus)
* Other Focus Areas: Cybersecurity, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI)
What You Bring
* Solid experience with financial ERP systems (ideally Unit4)
* Understanding of accounting and finance processes
* Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal English
* Experience in academic or research environments (a plus)
