Precision’s uniquely integrated offering enables the science of precision medicine by combining novel clinical trial designs, industry-leading operational and medical experts, advanced biomarker and data analytics solutions, and an unequivocal real passion for rare diseases and oncology, in addition to working across other therapeutic areas.brAs our Microsoft 365 environment continues to grow, we are seeking a Microsoft 365 Governance Administrator to help modernize, govern, and integrate our collaboration platform across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and the Power Platform. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience cleaning up, rationalizing, and integrating large Microsoft 365 tenants and who enjoys bringing order, structure, and sustainability to complex environments.brAs a Microsoft 365 Governance Administrator, you will play a critical role in shaping and operating Microsoft 365 governance across the organization. This includes permissions management, lifecycle controls, retention and records management, information protection, tenant integration, and data-driven governance reporting—working closely with Legal, GRC, Security, IT, and MA stakeholders.brThis is a governance-first role with strong execution responsibility, well suited for someone who understands how M365 environments evolve over time—and how to modernize and integrate them without disrupting the business.brEssential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:brMicrosoft 365 Governance ModernizationbrulliLead governance initiatives across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform. /liliAssess and remediate legacy configurations, over-permissioned content, and stale collaboration resources. /liliDrive tenant modernization aligned to Microsoft best practices and enterprise governance standards.br/li /ulPermissions Access ManagementbrulliDesign and maintain least-privilege permission models across M365 workloads. /liliDevelop automated renewal profiles for user and group membership recertification on a recurring basis to reduce risk and entitlement sprawl. /liliPartner with Security and GRC teams to ensure access controls meet compliance and audit expectations.br/li /ulLifecycle, Retention Records ManagementbrulliDefine and operate lifecycle management for M365 resources, including: /liulliArchiving inactive Teams, Sites, and Groups /liliDecommissioning unused or abandoned resources /liliPreventing long-term collaboration sprawl /li /ulliImplement and manage retention and records management policies in partnership with Legal and GRC teams. /liliSupport classification of content as records where required and ensure defensible disposition. /liliApply and govern sensitivity labels to protect regulated and high-risk content.br/li /ulMergers Acquisitions (MA) EnablementbrulliSupport Microsoft 365 migration and integration efforts associated with MA activity. /liliAssess incoming tenants for governance gaps, security risks, and modernization opportunities. /liliExecute or support migrations of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams content into the enterprise tenant. /liliAlign acquired environments to established governance, lifecycle, retention, and information protection standards.br/li /ulAutomation, Reporting OperationsbrulliAutomate governance and administration using AvePoint, PowerShell, Power Automate, SharePoint Advanced Management, and Microsoft Graph. /liliAnalyze and manipulate large governance and usage data sets to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities. /liliProduce operational and compliance-focused reports to support lifecycle decisions and leadership visibility. /liliAct as an escalation point for complex governance and collaboration issues.br/li /ulbEducationbr/bQualifications and Experience RequiredbrulliBachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science or an equivalent combination of education experience. /liliMicrosoft Certification(s) not required but a plusbr/li /ulbWork Experiencebr/bulliRequired /liulli5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration, with deep SharePoint Online experience. /liliProven experience cleaning up, governing, and modernizing enterprise M365 tenants. /liliStrong background in permissions management, lifecycle governance, retention, and compliance-driven collaboration. /liliExperience partnering with Legal, GRC, and Security teams on retention and data protection initiatives. /liliAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including analysis and manipulation of large data sets (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, data normalization). /liliStrong automation capability using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, PowerAutomate, and SharePoint Advanced Management to extract, analyze, and report on large-scale M365 governance data (Sites/Teams/Groups/permissions/lifecycle signals). /li /ulliPreferred /liulliExperience supporting Microsoft 365 migrations, including tenant consolidation or MA-driven integrations. /liliFamiliarity with Microsoft Purview retention and records management. /liliExperience with AvePoint Cloud Governance (provisioning, renewals, reporting). /liliExperience with ShareGate or similar migration tools. /liliPower BI report creation, including governance dashboards and operational reporting. /liliExposure to Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Agents, and Copilot governance considerations. /liliPower Platform governance experience (Power Automate, Power Apps). /liliExperience supporting globally distributed teams.br/li /ul /ulWe invite you to learn more about our growing organization serving our clients that are researching ground breaking cancer therapies.
