Overview
We are an international pharmaceutical leader company seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead global projects and programs within the Consumer Healthcare (CHC) space, with a strong focus on dermatology. This role sits within a global Project and Portfolio team and is instrumental in driving innovation and product development from concept to market launch.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project and program management for global in-licensing and new product development initiatives.
* Focus on dermatology innovations (e.g., anti-dandruff, emollient products), with flexibility to support other CHC categories.
* Build and maintain high-performing cross-functional project teams with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
* Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations across global functions.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering timelines, scope, resources, and reporting.
* Oversee scope management, including requirements gathering, coordination of changes, and alignment with key stakeholders.
* Identify synergies across projects and support portfolio-level management within product categories.
* Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.
* Stay informed on market and technology trends through external engagements.
* Conduct risk assessments and manage escalations as needed.
* Collaborate with internal teams including Portfolio Management, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Finance, and regional affiliates.
Profile Requirements
* University degree in a scientific discipline (Pharmacology, Medicine, Biology, Chemistry preferred).
* 7–10 years of experience in dermatology or dermocosmetics within CHC or FMCG sectors, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
* Strong understanding of product development and regulatory pathways for OTC, cosmetics, and food supplements.
* Experience in additional CHC categories is a plus.
* Solid marketing acumen and consumer insight capabilities.
* Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.
* Demonstrated success in driving innovation from concept to launch.
* Results-oriented with a growth mindset.
* Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
* Business acumen and project management certification are advantageous.
* Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
* Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Based in Spain.
