Overview
Marketing Manager (Digital Content Specialist), Masters Programmes (at the rank of Executive Officer) – role within the Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Hong Kong. The position commences as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities
* Design marketing and operational materials across print, digital, and social media formats, ensuring outputs align with established brand guidelines.
* Photo and video editing, post-production tasks including creating short-form videos with motion graphics, and editing raw footage into polished clips for social media.
* Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity across social channels, websites, and other media channels.
* Stay informed about the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to produce engaging content; work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure cohesive messaging.
* Familiarity with data visualization and UI design principles is considered an asset.
* Perform ad-hoc assignments as required and be flexible to work outside normal office hours, including weekends; travel outside Hong Kong may be required.
* Coordinate and contribute to marketing strategies for specialized Masters Programmes (e.g., Accounting, Accounting Analytics, Business Analytics, Family Wealth Management, Finance, FinTech, Global Management, Marketing, Sustainable Accounting and Finance, and Wealth Management).
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Art and Design or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
* In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Rednote, WeChat, YouTube).
* Proficiency in creative editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (AI), and After Effects; strong knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, and photo retouching.
* Creative, efficient, and detail-oriented; able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and collaboratively; excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).
* Ability to plan, implement, and execute marketing strategies for specialized Masters Programmes; candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Executive Assistant at the same rank.
