We are recruiting an HR Manager to lead human resources operations at our automotive manufacturing facility in Zaragoza Province.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, oversee, monitor, and control personnel administration and HR management policies.
- Promote, drive, and track policies on recruitment, onboarding, talent identification, career planning, training, performance evaluation, and offboarding.
- Ensure consistent application of people development policies.
- Report to plant management and the Group HR Director.
- Manage relations with employee representatives (works councils, delegates).
- Engage with staff to identify needs, requirements, and HR-related concerns to implement improvement tools and solutions.
- Ensure HR processes, management systems and organisational structure are applied effectively, proposing and driving continuous improvement while adhering to company procedures.
- Lead labour relations in coordination with hierarchical leadership and HR guidelines, aligning with company strategy.
- Supervise and approve internal regulations and employment conditions, ensuring compliance with Spanish labour laws.
- Oversee and support administrative and documentary operations (payroll, contracts, etc.).
- Represent the company before different authorities (Social Security, Labour Authorities).
- Act as the primary contact for external agencies dedicated to HR services.
- As member of the international HR Team, contribute to the development and implementation of one common General HR strategy.
- Coordinate with the external Occupational Risk Prevention Service to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (EHS) regulations and procedures, preparing accident investigation reports in collaboration with company-appointed personnel.
Requirements
- Degree in Labour Sciences, Labour Relations & HR, Business Administration, Law, or similar.
- Specialisation in Strategic HR Management (Master’s/Postgraduate qualification).
- Demonstrated HR leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial settings (automotive sector).
- Preferred candidates residents currently in Zaragoza province, or geographical flexibility to relocate.
- Fluent English.

Essential Criteria
- 5+ years’ HR experience in an industrial automotive company performing the above functions.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Spanish employment law with working knowledge of EU labour directives.
- Experience in employee representation relations (works councils, delegates).

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented, meticulous approach.
- Proactive attitude.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with HRM software and SAP.
