Senior Advertising Account Manager – (Managing the UK Market; Role is based in Dublin or Barcelona)

As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of advertisers, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising offerings are valued and understood. You will drive revenue by linking customers’ needs and objectives to our solutions and building personable, trusting relationships that increase customer satisfaction. The Account Manager is a core member of the account team focused on data-driven optimizations aligned with client needs, executing campaigns, and coordinating internal resources for excellence in execution, account transitions, and client health.
Qualifications
Required / Minimum Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Digital Advertising Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising, or
* Bachelor's Degree in Digital Advertising Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 2+ years relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
* Experience in online media or search engine marketing sales and service
* Proven track record of high performance and productivity
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
* Ability to understand customer needs and deliver customized, customer-focused pitches and solutions
* Strong analytical skills
* Solid knowledge of online advertising industry trends and customer needs
* Passion and curiosity for technology as an enabler for growth
* Ability to travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
Account Planning / Management
* Solicit feedback on client needs, develop targeted marketing strategies, and influence stakeholders to drive change and enhance offerings.
* Manage your book of business proactively, expanding your network of partners and ensuring seamless account management.
* Become an expert on client accounts, monitoring activities to ensure account health and client success.
* Leverage relationships and feedback to identify growth opportunities, improve satisfaction, and address issues.
* Educate clients on Microsoft's strategies and solutions, demonstrating the value of Microsoft Advertising.
* Use sales strategies like Challenger Sale to identify client needs and handle objections effectively.
* Utilize tools like UCM for performance tracking, reporting, and identifying upsell opportunities.
* Develop and present compelling business plans and proposals to clients to drive business growth.
Client Engagement
* Develop a deep understanding of clients' marketing needs, competition, and market trends to deliver strategic advertising solutions.
* Build and maintain relationships at multiple organizational levels, securing buy-in and execution of strategies.
Industry Knowledge
* Act as a thought leader on industry trends, technology, and KPIs, leveraging this knowledge to benefit clients and create revenue-generating solutions.
