About the Role
We're searching for a
strategic, entrepreneurial, and commercially-savvy Category Manager
to join the international buying team of our client in the retail & consumer goods sector.

What You Will Be Doing
You will have full
end-to-end ownership
of your product categories, including P&L; responsibility:
- Source, negotiate, and trade
food and non-food products for stores across Europe
- Own pricing and margin optimization
for your categories
- Spot product opportunities
and analyze assortment gaps
- Use your
network and market insight
to source winning products
- Define and implement buying strategies
with full autonomy
- Manage international categories
, including major household brands
- Grow into a leadership role
in a fast-moving environment
What We Are Looking For
- 4–10 years of experience
in buying or selling CPG products across Europe
- Bachelor's degree
in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Private-label negotiation experience
is a strong plus
- Advanced Excel skills
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, strong data handling)
- Willingness to travel
across Europe regularly
- International exposure
is a plus
- Fluent English (C1)
required;
French and/or Portuguese
are a bonus
