Are you a Data Product Manager who can lead large-scale data initiatives end-to-end, while working closely with engineering teams to deliver real business impact?
This role sits within a large-scale enterprise data and analytics function within a global Energy company, focused on building and evolving data platforms that enable smarter decision-making across the organisation.
The team is responsible for delivering enterprise-grade data capabilities, including data pipelines, analytics platforms, reporting solutions, and data products that support business operations at scale. This is an opportunity to work on complex, business-critical initiatives that transform how data is collected, managed, and consumed across the organisation.
Your Role as a Data Product Manager:
You will operate at the intersection of product management, delivery, and portfolio oversight - owning the lifecycle of data products from definition through to execution.
You'll typically oversee 2-3 data initiatives at a time, ranging from enterprise data platforms and data pipelines to analytics solutions and business intelligence products.
Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and strategy for data products and platforms
Identify opportunities for new products, features, and improvements through stakeholder engagement and analysis
Work closely with engineers, architects, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions on AWS
Oversee the delivery of data platforms, data pipelines, reporting solutions, and analytics capabilities
Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement based on feedback and business needs
Strong experience as a Data Product Manager or in a similar hybrid product/delivery role
Proven experience working with AWS-based data platforms, data pipelines, analytics, and reporting solutions
Strong understanding of data engineering, data architecture, and analytics concepts
Experience working closely with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Solution Architects
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Familiarity with agile tools and practices (JIRA, backlog management, roadmap planning)
Fully remote B2B/freelance contracts
