As a Human Resources Professional, you will play a key role in supporting our people and our business in the Zaragoza production center. You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, ensuring HR processes are executed effectively and fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performing workplace
Human Resources Generalist
We are looking for a passionate Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the Atlas Copco factory in Zaragoza.
You will play a key role in supporting our people and business, ensuring an engaging work environment and contributing to the sustainable growth of our organization.
You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, supporting a broad range of HR activities — from recruitment and onboarding to talent development, employee relations, and organizational initiatives.
In this role, you will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with line managers to support recruitment, onboarding, development, and employee engagement activities.
2. Coordinate HR processes such as performance management, training & development, compensation, and internal communication.
3. Support implementation of HR policies and programs aligned with Atlas Copco Group standards and local labor regulations.
4. Promote a culture of safety, well-being, and inclusion.
5. Contribute to HR projects (e.g., talent management, workforce planning, employer branding, employee experience).
6. Provide guidance to employees on HR-related topics and ensure compliance with Spanish labor law and the metal industry collective agreement.
7. Ensure compliance with legal requirements in day-to-day employee management.
To succeed, you will need
8. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline.
9. Post graduate qualifications in business or related disciple, experience and knowledge in employee relations, labor relations, wellbeing.
10. 3–5 years of experience in HR, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
11. Solid understanding of Spanish labor law and HR best practices.
12. Experience of HR systems, SuccessFactors preferable.
13. Desirable Experience in Multinational Companies.
14. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
15. Fluent in Spanish and good level of English (both written and spoken).
