Role Overview
The selected candidate will be the Specialist in sales of Special Gases, both Compressed Gases (bottles, Packaged Gases - PG) and Liquid (Liquid Bulk - LB), in the Cataluña and Levante regions. Are you the right person for this commercial role?
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and grow the existing customer portfolio, and generate new business for Special Gases.
* Attend to the Research and Education segment (universities, public centers, etc.) and manage public tenders.
* Maintain commercial relations with OEMs and engineering firms in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector.
* Ensure sales volume, revenue, and margin targets through various pricing campaigns and analyze sales trends monthly.
* Stay updated on new products and applications, collaborate with Marketing, and support the sales team regarding Special Gases.
Profile Requirements
* Technical background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
* Knowledge of analytical equipment (chromatographs, ICPs, spectrometers, etc.).
* Proven experience as a sales engineer or account manager, minimum 3-5 years.
* Proactive, positive attitude, team player, with negotiation skills.
* Fluent in Spanish and Catalan (C1-C2); English is a plus.
* Driving license (B1) and willingness to travel daily.
