We are seeking a Senior Category Manager to strategically source Food Services for our global Customer Fulfillment network. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams across Amazon and engaging with key suppliers to meet organizational requirements. The successful candidate will develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver savings, and enhance productivity.
Key job responsibilities
* Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to strengthen Amazon's competitive edge.
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to achieve cost-effective and sustainable solutions aligned with business goals.
* Manage suppliers proactively to identify opportunities for optimization.
* Provide market intelligence and keep stakeholders informed about category trends and opportunities.
* Manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks, improve performance, and add value.
* Achieve and report savings and sustainability targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams to understand and support business needs related to the category.
* Develop metrics to monitor performance against strategy, track savings, and address issues proactively.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, etc.)
* Experience in supply chain management
* Experience leading large negotiations
* Experience working cross-functionally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Program or project management experience
* Complex problem-solving skills in tight schedules
* Experience owning end-to-end program strategies and communicating results to leadership
