This is a Regional People Operations Manager to join a large, complex international organization operating across multiple European, Middle East and African markets.
This is a senior regional role with responsibility for people operations service delivery, process enablement, compliance, and continuous improvement, working closely with regional and global stakeholders in a matrix environment.
The position combines strategic ownership with hands‑on operational leadership, and is ideal for someone experienced in HR Operations, shared services, and multi‑country delivery models .
Position Overview
The Regional People Operations Manager is responsible for leading and enabling people service delivery across multiple countries, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high‑quality employee support. The role drives regional standardization, process improvement, and change initiatives while leading a geographically dispersed team and partnering closely with global and cross‑functional stakeholders in a complex, international environment.
Your responsibilities
Regional service delivery & enablement
Own and drive regional people service delivery, ensuring consistent, high‑quality employee support across markets
Lead standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement of regional people operations processes
Monitor service performance, analyze issues, and drive resolution and service progression
Process governance & compliance
Contribute to global process design and provide regional input to ensure alignment with local legal and regulatory requirements
Partner closely with global process owners to support compliant and scalable solutions
Own the regional employment compliance agenda, supporting country and regional initiatives where required
Knowledge management & self‑service
Oversee regional ownership of HR knowledge content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and usability
Promote employee self‑service adoption and effective use of HR portals and tools
Change, transformation & projects
Lead and embed regional, global, and country‑level initiatives within people operations
Drive effective change management across regional operations, ensuring adoption and sustainability
Contribute to regional and global continuous improvement agendas, including process streamlining and optimization
Leadership & stakeholder management
Lead a multi‑country, geographically dispersed team, ensuring delivery against objectives and service expectations
Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on people operations topics
Identify capability needs and support development plans in collaboration with relevant partners
Employer Requirements Essential
5+ years’ experience in HR Operations, People Operations, Shared Services, or outsourced service environments
Proven experience leading regional or multi‑country teams, including remote leadership
Strong background in service delivery management, process design, and operational governance
Solid experience working in complex, matrix organizations
Technical & professional expertise
Strong knowledge of employment and labour law principles, compensation administration, and HR operations end‑to‑end
Hands‑on experience with HR systems and service platforms (Workday, ServiceNow wou;d be preferred)
Experience with process improvement methodologies, project management, and change management
Strong data analysis and reporting capability to inform decisions and improvements
