The Global XVA Desk manages fair value adjustments and economic risks arising from BBVA Global Markets’ derivatives and SFT transactions. It is a cross-asset trading desk responsible for credit and funding risk adjustments in non-collateralised and partially collateralised transactions, wrong-way risk exposures, bond-collateralised agreements, collateral posting options, and, more broadly, any cross-product economic adjustment relevant to BBVA Global Markets’ activity.
About the job:
As a Junior XVA Trader, your responsibilities will include:
- Joining a global, cross-asset trading team with hubs across three regions.
- Assisting in the pricing of XVA adjustments for derivatives and SFT transactions executed globally.
- Supporting the analysis and execution of market strategies to manage the complex cross-asset exposures of the Global Markets XVA portfolio.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of tools and models that support all aspects of the Integral Markets XVA agenda.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background. A degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Economics is required.
- A background in Financial Mathematics is highly valued.
- Previous experience in a financial role is highly valued.
- Up to 3 years of work experience is valued
- A team player who is able to perform under pressure.
- Languages: English.
