In your role you will be mainly developing, but not restricted to, ITSM supporting our Business-as-Usual Stream. YOUR CHALLENGE Key areas of involvement include: Application Development & Configuration: Build custom applications, forms, modules, and workflows tailored to business requirements across Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management Automation & Workflow Design: Develop and optimise automated processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen compliance System Integrations: Collaborate on integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or integration hubs Performance & Stability: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and apply best practices for scalability and usability Security & Compliance: Ensure all developments adhere to strict security protocols, access controls, and audit requirements in line with financial industry standards Working closely with fellow developers, process owners, and IT stakeholders, gaining insight into both technical architecture and business operations within a globally regulated environment YOUR PROFILE Solid foundation in JavaScript and object-oriented programming; familiarity with Glide API, server-side scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes), and client scripts on the ServiceNow platform Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and their implementation in enterprise systems Familiarity with web technologies, JSON/XML, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP) Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities — you enjoy digging into logs, debugging issues, and finding root causes A collaborative mindset with good communication skills; comfortable asking questions, giving updates, and working in agile teams Willingness to take ownership, follow coding standards, and continuously improve your craft Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset in our international setting Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Associate Developer are advantageous but not mandatory We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
