Your Role
We are looking for a dynamic and fast-learning trainee with a curious mindset to join the Consumer Insight team in Affinity Petcare. The main objective of the Consumer Insights department is to deliver relevant and actionable consumer understanding to the Marketing team to enable more informed and impactful marketing actions through consumer knowledge.
As a Consumer Insights Trainee, you will be responsible for producing insightful reports and analyses using market data from various sources and countries (e.g. Retail and Consumer panel data, etc.). You will also support the Consumer Insights Manager in the setup and execution of ad hoc research projects designed to deepen our understanding of pet parents’ needs and motivations.
What You Will Do
- Develop and update market and consumer reports to provide relevant information to the team
- Learn how to analyse market data and both quantitative and qualitative research results, synthesizing key findings
- Manage the regular update of brand communication tracking
- Collaborate in all the process of ad-hoc researches from briefing to results and recommendations together with the Consumer Insights Manager
What We Are Looking For
- University student currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field, with the ability to sign an internship agreement with the university
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages such as Italian, French or Portuguese are a plus
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Proactive mindset and strong communicational skills
- Team player with a collaborative spirit
- Curiosity and with high learning capacity
- Autonomous and creative in problem-solving
