About the Role
Inter Regulatory is expanding its European Regulatory Affairs team and is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Assistant to join our consultancy based in Barcelona, primarily working from our Barcelona office.
This is a generalist regulatory role spanning multiple sectors (including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, consumer health products and nicotine-containing products). It is suited to a regulatory professional with 1-3 years of experience who is eager to develop broad expertise across a range of regulated product categories in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining regulatory documentation across multiple product sectors (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, consumer health products and nicotine-containing products)
- Supporting regulatory submissions and product notification processes in the EU and UK
- Ensuring product compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks (EU MDR, EU MDR/IVDR, cosmetics regulation, EU TPD and others)
- Managing technical documentation and regulatory files across product lifecycles
- Monitoring evolving EU and UK regulations across relevant sectors
- Working closely with internal scientific, toxicology, and quality teams, as well as external clients
- Contributing to the growth of Inter Regulatory's multi-sector regulatory offering in Europe
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs across one or more of the following sectors: pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, consumer health products and nicotine-containing products)
- Experience preparing and managing regulatory documentation or submissions
- Familiarity with EU and/or UK regulatory frameworks
- Degree in a scientific discipline or related field
- Fluent English and Spanish (additional European language a plus)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
