Mission
As Sales Manager Spain & Italy, you are responsible for driving customer development and sales execution across the Spanish and Italian markets, reporting to the Country Manager Spain Hub .
Your mission is to identify and develop sales opportunities, manage key customer accounts, and convert qualified projects into orders, working closely with the Solutions Manager and HQ teams to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions.
This role focuses on hands-on sales execution, customer engagement, and pipeline development across power distribution, data centers, renewable energy, and grid infrastructure projects in Spain and Italy.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Development & Account Management
Develop and manage relationships with:
Utilities and grid operators
EPCs, system integrators, and project developers
Key industrial, renewable energy, and data center customers
Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and project pipelines in Spain and Italy
Promote Daqo’s MV/LV power distribution solutions and project capabilities
Represent Daqo in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
Sales Execution & Project Follow-up
Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and order-closing activities
Coordinate RFQs, tenders, and proposals in close cooperation with the Solutions Manager
Manage sales forecasts, opportunity tracking, and reporting to the Country Manager
Support contract discussions, order handover, and coordination with HQ and factories
Internal & Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Solutions Manager (technical proposals and RFQs)
HQ sales, engineering, and operations teams
Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal stakeholders
Provide regular market feedback on customer needs, competitors, and pricing trends
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in B2B sales within power distribution, electrical systems, or energy infrastructure
Proven experience selling to: Utilities, EPCs, or system integrators in Spain and/or Italy
Strong understanding of project-based and long-cycle sales
Familiarity with MV/LV power distribution solutions is a strong advantage
Fluent English required ; Spanish and/or Italian strongly preferred
Self-driven, customer-oriented, and results-focused
Comfortable working in a cross-border, international environment
Willing to travel regularly within Spain and Italy
