Why we need this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our Collections team. This role will support ongoing changes related to bank account transitions, customer payment management, and administrative financial processes. Reporting into the Collections manager you'll play a key role in providing administrative support to the collections team.
What you will do
Collections & Payment Management
1. Support the Collections team with daily administrative activities related to customer accounts.
2. Manage and monitor incoming payments following recentbank account changes.
3. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies linked to multiple bank account transitions.
4. Ensure accurate allocation of customer payments across legacy and current bank accounts.
Bank Account Transition Support
5. Assist in managing the operational impact of multiple bank account changes communicated to customers.
6. Coordinate updates in internal systems to reflect correct banking details.
7. Respond to customer queries regarding payment instructions and account changes.
8. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and proper implementation of new payment processes.
Administrative & Operational Tasks
9. Provide administrative support to the Collections department, contributing to the achievement of KPIs
10. Support account reconciliations related to bank transitions and Transfers of Service.
11. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and financial transactions.
12. Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors during transition periods.
What we're looking for
Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
13. Previous experience in finance administration, collections, or accounts receivable.
14. Experience handling bank reconciliations, collections, and payment allocations.
15. Ability to manage high volumes of transactional work in a fast-paced environment.
16. Good communication skills, especially in handling customer queries.
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (ERP experience is a plus).
18. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
19. Experience in the telecommunications industry.
20. English required, other languages are a plus
21. Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements in financial operations.
