Why we need this role
To deliver accurate payrolls in the EMEA region and be the subject matter expert on assigned payrolls. To support the Global Payroll Lead in creating consistent and standard processes.
What you will do
1. To be the subject matter expert on the assigned payrolls in EMEA region
2. Process and communicate all payroll updates and changes with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail of manual payroll input
3. To have a good understanding on local labour laws impacting payroll
4. Ensure that data is received in line with established payroll formats and deadlines
5. To be primary point of contact for employee queries in relation to designated payrolls
6. Process payroll funding in each location – salaries and 3rd party payments in collaboration with the Treasury Team
7. Handle payroll closing activities
8. Maintain a detailed process documentation with the help of the Director Global Payroll for all EMEA payrolls
9. Interact with the global payroll provider and sub-contractors if applicable
10. Audit the payroll calculations and payroll output reports (G2N, Variance Report, payslips, payment files, etc). Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records
11. Identify improvements, opportunities for process automation and implement any resultant changes
12. Provide advice on best practices on routine as well as complex payroll transactions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
13. Conduct regular checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll database, updating data as necessary and ensuring that the payroll database is working correctly
14. Assist & co-operate in any internal or external audits / projects

What we're looking for
Skills & Experience
23. At least 4-5 years of experience working in payroll business
24. Recent operational payroll experience within EMEA
25. Processed international payrolls and worked with global payroll providers
26. Strong payroll systems experience
27. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel
28. Highly organised and able to effectively multi-task and prioritise workload

29. CIPP (advantageous) or similar
30. BA Diploma
