TXM is working in partnership with a multinational automation technology company, specialising in automated logistics solutions. In this Commissioning Engineer role, you'll work for a global business that designs and builds advanced automated systems to help customers manage their logistics and supply chains. The company is well-established internationally, and you'll have the chance to work on software systems that connect with cutting-edge machinery on projects around the world.

Software Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:
\n
Write and configure software programs to control automated machinery, tailored to each customer's requirements Test software quality using simulators before deployment Travel internationally (50–60% of the time) to customer sites to carry out installation and commissioning

Lead on-site testing, integration, and configuration, working alongside various technical specialists Train customer staff and provide support ahead of system go-live Act as a key point of contact for customers on-site, delivering clear communication and good service

Collaborate with internal teams throughout the project to ensure successful delivery Hand over completed projects to the relevant departments once commissioning is complete

Experience & requirements for the role:
\n
xiphteb\nKnowledge of object orientated programming (C++, C# or Java)\nRelational database knowledge in SQL or Oracle and Linux\nAbility to work in collaboration with internal and external project teams\nAbility to speak English with technical conversations as a minimum, being able to speak German is advantageous\nEligible to work in Austria/ EU\nHold a valid driver’s licence
