Position: Occupational Therapist - Neurorehabilitation and Physical Medicine
Education and Qualifications
* Required: Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy; additional training in Neurorehabilitation, virtual reality, or telerehabilitation; fluency in English (business level).
* Desired: Training in Neurorehabilitation teamwork; fluency in Catalan and Spanish.
Experience and Knowledge
* Minimum 2 years of experience in multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
* Knowledge of statistics and database management.
Main Responsibilities
* Participate in an international clinical trial to validate a virtual and augmented reality ecosystem for post-stroke rehabilitation at home, including training, treatment, and follow-up.
* Collaborate with the Neurorehabilitation team to map resources in Catalunya, develop information for Vall d’Hebron’s telerehabilitation platform, and contribute to research projects within the Neurorehabilitation Area.
* Prepare and organize documentation for the NEST project (Neurorehabilitation Ecosystem for Sustained Therapy).
Labor Conditions
* Full-time/Part-time: 40 hours/week.
* Start date: Immediate.
* Salary: €23,592.08 gross per year, based on experience and skills.
* Contract: Linked to the NEST project, initially for 1 year with potential extension up to 2 years, funded by the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII) and co-financed by the European Union.
