Job PurposeThe Business Development role is responsible for translating vendor and technology growth plans internally and driving them within specific strategic segments. It involves collaboration with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organization on specialized opportunities by working with central and local vendors.AccountabilitiesThis role primarily involves managing vendors by possessing comprehensive knowledge of their products and services, and acting as a trusted advisor to help customers set strategic business objectives.The role requires high-level negotiation skills to handle key tenders and large deals, with in-depth industry knowledge of hardware, software, services, and solutions. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and stakeholders is crucial to ensure TD SYNNEX is recognized as a "Trusted Advisor."Additional responsibilities include optimizing results through sales initiatives within the vendor portfolio, identifying and onboarding new vendors, and developing business growth initiatives. The role involves taking solutions and services to market, including XaaS, creating compelling value propositions for executive-level discussions, and supporting sales teams to increase market share. Full ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution is expected.Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceIdeal candidates will have experience driving business at the EU level, with in-depth knowledge of the technology distribution industry, hardware, software, services, and solutions. Experience with Lenovo, Hitachi, Fujitsu, and NetApp is a plus.Strong business planning skills, operational experience within a matrix structure, strategic planning, and business case development are essential.Languages required include English and other relevant European languages.Available locations include:
