Mission
You play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. As a Beam Physics Service Engineer, you are responsible for beam calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities on the Proton Therapy site. You may be responsible for 2 or 3 installations, with each project scheduled for approximately 30 months. A training period is planned before the first installation, expected to be completed within 12 months at Fuenlabrada, starting December 2025. The start date may be adjusted as needed. Our HR team will support your relocation to subsequent locations.

* Participating in the installation of IBA equipment and technical tools on the Proton Therapy site, focusing on beam-related equipment
* Performing beam-related equipment calibration following procedures
* Operating the system to match beam requirements, understanding software/hardware architecture
* Setting and aligning dosimetry tools
* Analyzing data to diagnose technical issues
* Testing and validating equipment to meet specifications and customer requirements
* Managing beam-related commissioning activities like Pencil Beam Scanning (PBS)
* Troubleshooting equipment issues
* Ensuring high-quality, state-of-the-art technology and services
What we value
* A Master’s degree or PhD in Physics or Engineering
* Experience in High Energy Physics, Particle Accelerators, or Medical Physics is a strong asset
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Python, and data acquisition scripting
* Ability to troubleshoot large systems
* Strong communication skills in English;
Spanish is an asset
* Customer-oriented mindset
* Ability to follow rules, meet deadlines, and share knowledge
* Team player with interpersonal skills
* Willingness to travel extensively during training
* Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends (up to 50%)
