We are looking for a Digital Grid Power Solution Lead to join Schneider Electric in Seville as part of our Digital Grid Business Unit. The role involves delivering power management solutions through the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) suite aimed at ensuring efficiency and reliability for utility operations.
Responsibilities
* Act as Power Solution Lead for one or more ADMS projects worldwide.
* Produce and maintain detailed design documentation for power applications, OMS (Outage Management System) and WOM (Work Order Management System) applications.
* Work directly with customers on challenging international projects worldwide, which may include business-related travel.
* Understand and offer alternative options for the Customer Projects requirements in the Power solution area of expertise.
* Stay informed of the project schedule and track and report the progress of tasks to the project manager.
* Participate in all phases of project delivery, including tendering, design, acceptance testing, and final commissioning.
* Support customers in achieving business goals by guiding and consulting them as a trusted advisor.
* Collaborate with Schneider Electric colleagues and development teams to define, prioritize and deliver features on time.
* Provide input to the Test Manager about power applications testing and concepts.
* Support other business organizations (for example, tendering and sales activities).
* Maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues and subcontractors.
* Assist the Support and Maintenance team with issue resolution in your area of expertise.
* Engage on-site and off-site during various project execution phases such as design, FAT, SAT, Go‑Live cutover.
Requirements
* Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with deep knowledge of electrical networks.
* Experience: 1–3 years in a technical role involving electrical utilities software solutions.
* Desirable domain expertise in SCADA, OMS, DMS, EMS, GMS, WFMS, GIS, AMI.
* Mandatory skills and tools:
o Experience in software industry or project delivery, mapping power solution functionalities to IT platforms/infrastructure.
o Deep knowledge of electrical power networks (European and American).
o Experience with complex data models and SQL Server databases.
o Requirement specification and software design experience; preferably in designing architectural solutions for power applications.
o Documentation, automatic testing, installation and commissioning of software solutions.
o Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills with efficient time‑management.
o Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Spanish.
o Passion for learning, continuous improvement, problem‑solving and creative thinking.
o Experience with power system calculation tools.
