Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Culinary Innovation chef based in San Sebastián. A dynamic role in a connected, multicultural team, with versátil work options and autonomy.
The Culinary Innovation chef will be responsible for identifying culinary trends, generating knowledge in avant-garde techniques, and creating new food products with high gastronomic value. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting taste tests, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and presenting culinary findings to stakeholders. Possibilities for worldwide travel within certain projects.
Qualifications
Expertise in culinary arts and recipe development
Experience with food research, ingredient experimentation, and culinary innovation
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work on-site in San Sebastián
Prior experience in a culinary innovation or R&D; role is a plus
Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
