This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week from our office in Barcelona. Only CVs submitted in English will be reviewed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead design projects: Independently design specific features or products, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Collaborate with teams: Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive design process.
3. Simplify complex data: Translate intricate functionality and data into user-friendly designs.
4. Identify challenges: Solve design and product issues, iterating based on user feedback and data.
5. Research-driven design: Analyze user research data to inform design decisions.
6. Prototype creation: Develop high-fidelity prototypes for usability testing and iterate as needed.
7. Maintain design system: Integrate new components and improve existing patterns within our design system.
8. Stakeholder communication: Clearly present design choices visually and verbally to stakeholders at all levels.
9. Drive project delivery: Lead design projects to completion, meeting KPIs, deadlines, and budgets.
10. Post-release analysis: Review outcomes after launch, identify improvements, and incorporate insights into future work.
11. Mentor junior designers: Offer guidance and constructive feedback during design reviews.
Required Skills
1. Experience: Minimum 6 years in UI/UX design with advanced proficiency in tools and methodologies.
2. Impactful delivery: Proven record of delivering features that improve KPIs and business goals.
3. Data handling: Skilled in working with complex data structures to optimize information architecture.
4. User-centric thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on user needs and process improvements.
5. Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
6. Research integration: Capable of analyzing user data and translating findings into impactful designs.
7. Prototyping skills: Experienced in creating high-fidelity prototypes for testing.
8. Communication: Excellent at justifying design decisions and leading discussions.
9. Time management: Capable of multitasking across multiple projects efficiently.
10. Critique and storytelling: Able to provide constructive feedback and convey design rationale effectively.
