Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Event Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in Barcelona, Spain for FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES GRAN PREMIO DE BARCELONA – CATALUNYA 2026 (from 6 June to 18 June or shorter). As a crucial member of our event staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our fast‑paced kitchen environment during various events and gatherings.
* Clean and sanitise dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using manual and automatic dishwashing equipment
* Ensure proper storage and organisation of clean items in their designated areas
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including work surfaces and floors
* Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and detergents as needed
* Assist in the disposal of food waste and recycling in accordance with local regulations
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy event periods
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
* Contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by maintaining a clean and organised workspace
* Respond promptly to any additional cleaning requests from kitchen staff or event organisers

Qualifications
* Previous experience as a dishwasher in a high‑volume restaurant or event setting is preferred
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
* Goal‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting efficiency targets
* Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
* Basic understanding of kitchen operations and workflow is advantageous
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
* Strong organisational skills and time management abilities
