The company is part of the French Ethifinance Group which, apart from credit ratings, provides a wide range of financial services including ESG ratings, ESG consulting, High Yield Bonds market analysis, modeling and other analytic tools. As a credit rating analyst, you will be responsible for leading primarily the credit rating process of European corporates (full analysis process including an in-depth analysis of the quantitative and qualitative variables of a company) that results in a comprehensive rating report that you will present to the rating committee. You must be available to travel across Europe (mainly Spain, France & Portugal) and feel comfortable leading meetings with Senior-level professionals (mainly CFOs).
The position also requires monitoring a portfolio of credit ratings and taking rating actions when warranted, in agreement with your manager.
CFA, MBA and technical backgrounds (math, engineering) valued positively.
Between 3 and 5 years of experience, preferably as a credit risk analyst in a bank, credit rating agency, asset manager etc.
Strong understanding of financial statement analysis.
Advanced/Fluent English both written and spoken. French and/or Portuguese is a plus.
