Experteer Overview
In this role you support the origination, structuring and execution of investment banking transactions within BBVA’s Investment Banking & Finance team. You’ll oversee operational aspects, mentor junior colleagues, and help manage senior-level client engagement to drive end-to-end deal success and value creation. The position blends technical financial work with cross-team collaboration and business development, contributing to cross-border advisory and client dialogue in a dynamic market.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Collaborate with the Senior Product Specialist on origination activities (pitches, RFIs/RFPs, price and terms, signing and closing), considering the client’s financials and market context
• Structure and execute live transactions with day-to-day ownership of client deliverables and deal documentation review
• Oversee and contribute to financial valuation, initial price advisory and fairness opinions
• Prepare presentation books, management presentations, board materials, memoranda and other transaction-related materials
• Maintain substantial day-to-day client contact at senior levels and provide client servicing throughout end-to-end deal execution
• Coordinate with other CIB products for cross-selling and with support units for deal execution
• Begin to build long-term external relationships and manage client accounts, including new business presentations and idea generation
• Oversee internal and external administrative tasks
• Engage in recruiting, training and mentoring of junior specialists and interns
Responsabilidades
• Minimun 2 years of experience in similar functions
• Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English (C1 level); Spanish is a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects
• MiFID certification or willingness to obtain at start of employment
