AkensNordburg is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f) for an international company that develops and commercializes trenchless systems. The role involves liaising with water network operators, engineering firms, and contractors to provide engineered solutions for trenchless renovation of pressure pipes in Spain and Portugal. The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in Business Development within the trenchless industry in Spain/Portugal, with a strong technical background in construction and cultural sensitivity for stakeholder communication. Reporting to the Director Business Development Europe based in Germany, responsibilities include educating network operators and engineering firms, providing engineering support, creating technical specifications and quotations, offering technical assistance during projects, presenting at conferences, and managing partners. Preferred qualifications include a Civil Engineer or related field with 5+ years in trenchless pipe rehabilitation, excellent communication skills in Spanish and English (Portuguese desirable), a structured approach, motivation, willingness to travel, and integrity. The work location is preferably Madrid with travel within Spain and Portugal, and occasional travel to Germany.
