As a Technical Architect, you will design and deliver software solutions that align with CCC business goals.
You will define architecture designs by selecting the most appropriate technologies from the CCC ecosystem and blueprints, understanding their trade-offs, and considering system integration and scalability.
The Technical Architect collaborates with delivery teams, business stakeholders, vendors, partners, and customers, guiding complex and innovative projects from definition to completion.
As part of their work, the Technical Architect creates tools and libraries to support software development efforts, evaluating new technologies by performing research and proof-of-concept activities and producing Architecture Decision Records.
**What you will be doing**:
- Work with SPS Account Manager and Sales representatives to deliver pre-sales support, providing an understanding of business needs and envisioning a solution.
- Work closely with client architecture and IT teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with the clients architectural roadmaps, policies, and direction.
- Identify and mitigate existing business or technical risks associated with new or existing solution architectures.
- Take a fair and pragmatic view when reviewing other technologies and ensure all appropriate costs and trade-offs are identified and presented either internally or externally as required.
- Provide a pragmatic architectural vision to project teams ensuring that: The overall solution is of high quality; Technical risks are identified; The solution is clearly communicated to the project team and client; direction and adherence to the solution is maintained; and the solution is carefully adapted to change when required; decisions are tracked in Architecture Decisions Records.
- Acts as a technical escalation point and supervisor for selected ongoing product developments, providing feedback to development teams across all phases of their SDLC.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math or other related degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 - 15 years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills plus presentation skills. With strong knowledge of web standards published by W3C, IETF, ISO.
- Team-leading and mentoring abilities with experience of at least two full projects in this role
- Experience in delivering projects through agile processes and practices
