Purpose
Within the Sales Organization, the Account Representative is responsible for promoting and communicating the benefits of the ETHICON Biosurgery portfolio to drive sales results. The Sales Representative acts as the main point of contact between the business and its customers, with responsibilities that include identifying new potential customers, supporting existing clients with information and assistance about the product portfolio, and implementing marketing strategies within a designated region. The representative is also accountable for achieving sales targets and business goals.
This position is eligible for sales incentives and commissions.
Responsibilities
* Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
* Provide support to the surgical team during procedures.
* Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within accounts.
* Educate customers about Wound Closure and/or Biosurgery products to optimize effective usage by offering technical and clinical information, as well as in-service training.
* Prepare, plan, and conduct training sessions and product demonstrations in-house.
* Stay current with the latest clinical data provided by the company and share this information with health professionals during presentations.
* Apply a Health Economics mindset and demonstrate both financial and clinical impacts of decisions to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
* Analyze the wound closure and biosurgery market in the area, optimize territory plans by regularly tracking market information, and use company data systems for analysis.
* Maintain detailed records of all contacts and activity registries on a weekly basis.
Requirements
* University degree in a natural or neuroscience field (such as medicine, nursing, biology, pharmacy) or equivalent qualification or experience.
* Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
* Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to build productive, professional business relationships.
* Strong prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
* Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
* Effective relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
* Intermediate proficiency in English.
* Experience working in sales within the medical devices sector. Experience in surgical specialties such as colorectal, hepatic, orthopedic, neurosurgery, or general surgery is a plus.
* Experience working with highly complex technical systems and/or in a critical patient care setting.

The Anticipated Base Pay Range For This Position Is
€44,500.00 - €70,725.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
