General Responsibility
The Business Development Specialist plays a key role in defining the company's portfolio, supporting candidate identification, project evaluation, and proposing solutions to the board. This involves collaboration with the Business Development team and external departments.
Specific Responsibilities
* Prospect, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities worldwide
* Conduct market research and therapeutic area analysis
* Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose solutions or business models
* Coordinate teams and resolve issues during project evaluation
* Provide reports on progress and opportunities
* Assist with other activities in the Business Development Department
Requirements and personal skills:
* Languages: Spanish and English (advanced)
* Experience: 1-2 years in Pharma, preferably in business development (generic business)
* Knowledge: Excel skills, data analysis
* Travel: No, occasional to 1-2 conferences/year
* Personal skills: Excellent communication, proactive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, decisive, independent and team worker, organized, problem solver
