**Key Account Manager**

**About the role**
- Portfolio management of accounts and assigned territory: customer development, opportunity detection, barrier removal, relationship with customers and presentation of our value proposition, services and/or products.
- Create strong relationships with account-managed portfolio clients.
- Ensure that the client obtains the best solution to their needs through the various departments of the company.
- Teamwork with the internal salesperson: establishing an account plan and developing it appropriately to exceed the planned objectives.
- Customer qualification: understand customer needs and purchase potential, establish sales forecasts.
- Planning of commercial activities according to the established chart of accounts. Corrective actions if necessary.
- Management and development through commercial visits of the assigned sites
- Lead management (detection of opportunities). Detect new business opportunities, identify prospects and/or new clients.
- Negotiation of opportunities (projects, tenders, offers, contracts, products on demand, etc). Win-to-win negotiation following the rules and recommendations of the company and considering the KPIs (margin and/or profit).
- The expected split between client interactive time and administration/planning is 80/20
**What we’re looking for**
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical engineering sales or service environment.
- Experience from a complex distribution business or solution provider.
- Knowledge of MRO, eProcurement or Inventory Solutions procurement strategies
- Proactive and consultative approach to explore needs and find innovative solutions for clients
- Person focused on results
- Able to behave and act with a high degree of integrity while thinking broadly and nimbly
