Overview: An international manufacturing company is seeking a Plant Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of one of its production sites. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives at the plant level.The position will begin with an onboarding period of 2 to 4 months in the company's Barcelona offices, after which the candidate will relocate to the plant in the Netherlands to continue their responsibilities on-site.Key Responsibilities:
3. Lead and supervise the monthly financial closing of the plant.
4. Review and validate cost simulations and production data.
5. Monitor budget deviations and support the Plant Manager in tracking improvement and investment projects .
6. Coordinate the annual budgeting process and ensure timely and accurate budget follow-up.
7. Conduct analytical reviews to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
8. Ensure proper stock control, production reporting, and functioning of key operational processes.
9. Track daily production KPIs to anticipate financial impacts.
10. Deliver monthly performance presentations to the Plant Manager and central controlling team.
11. Collaborate closely with the central controlling department to ensure alignment in reporting and financial processes.
12. Actively participate in departmental projects and contribute to operational excellence.

13. Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
14. Fluency in English and Spanish are a must.
15. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a plant controller or in controlling roles within industrial or manufacturing companies .Alternatively, candidates with 3+ years of experience in audit, those who have worked with industrial clients, will also be considered.
16. Knowledge & Skills: Solid understanding of cost accounting, stock management, and the different phases of the production process .Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
17. Soft Skills: Autonomous, proactive, and organized.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.High analytical capacity and ability to synthesize information.Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.Clear orientation toward the industrial sector and continuous improvement.
