About Scope
Scope is one of Australia's largest providers of disability support services, with over 70 years of experience supporting people with physical, intellectual, and multiple disabilities, as well as developmental delays. Our services include supported independent living, short-term accommodation, assistance services, and Day and Lifestyle Options.
About The Role :
As a team member of Scope's Social Connections (Day Program) in Ballarat, you will support the access and participation of adults with disabilities in an inclusive environment.
* Casual position with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm.
You will support and empower clients to participate in social activities and form meaningful community connections. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, field trips, swimming, and more.
Note: Some clients participate in swimming sessions at the local community pool. This position requires individuals comfortable supporting clients in water, including entering and exiting changerooms and poolside assistance.
Individuals must be :
* Comfortable providing hands-on support before, during, and after swim sessions.
* Confident in their swimming skills.
* Able to maintain physical stamina during active engagement in water.
* Capable of guiding clients with diverse learning styles and abilities.

Requirements :
* NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
* Working with Children Check (Employee).
