As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Grid Connection Manager to support the successful delivery of utility-scale projects by managing grid access and connection processes.Role OverviewThe Grid Connection Manager will be responsible for securing and managing grid connection agreements for renewable energy projects. You will act as the key interface between internal project teams, grid operators (REE and distribution system operators), and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.Key Responsibilities:

Lead the grid connection strategy for solar, wind, and storage projects across SpainManage the full lifecycle of grid connection applications (access & connection permits)Act as the main point of contact with REE (Red Eléctrica de España) and DSOsCoordinate grid studies, including load flow, short circuit, and grid impact assessmentsReview and negotiate connection agreements and technical conditionsMonitor regulatory changes related to grid access and ensure complianceCollaborate with development, engineering, and construction teams to align grid requirementsManage timelines, risks, and budgets associated with grid connection activitiesSupport due diligence processes for project financing and acquisitions Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar5+ years of experience in grid connection, power systems, or renewable project developmentStrong knowledge of the Spanish grid code and access regulationsExperience working with REE and/or Spanish DSOsFamiliarity with power system xpzdshu analysis tools (e.g., PSSE, DIg SILENT, Power Factory)Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skillsFluent in Spanish and English Desirable Skills
Experience with hybrid projects (solar + storage / wind + storage)Knowledge of European grid connection frameworksBackground in high-voltage infrastructure or substations What We Offer
