Product Director Prime to lead the product team for our innovative subscription scheme Prime. This role reports to our Chief Product Officer and is responsible for leading a team of approx. 10-12 Product Managers.

In this role, you will collaborate with your team, peers, and stakeholders across various functions in product, design, engineering, marketing and business. In a fast moving and multi-disciplinary environment, your task is to develop and implement experiences which drive and shape the Prime subscription model in offering an unparalleled user experience.

As a key leader on the product team being part of the product leadership team, you will need to be an experienced and effective people manager, capable of providing guidance, feedback and direction to an energetic team of product managers and pods. The position requires liaising effectively with stakeholders across various lines of businesses and functions. The ideal candidate therefore needs to be a practiced negotiator and a creative problem solver, capable of building consensus across a large global organization.

In order to have maximum impact, you need to have a data-driven approach to product development, strong communication skills and an unerring sense of prioritization responding to tight deadlines.

Drive the product strategy for new and existing products delivering best-in-class customer experience and driving business value, aligning with other areas of the business, particularly engineering and business.

Identify new opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to elaborate creatively mutually beneficial solutions to business and consumer necessities

Lead cross-functional teams to conceive and develop new product concepts, establish development milestones, and manage the development, implementation and subsequent rollouts

7+ years of relevant work experience in product development in a competitive e-commerce environment
\n
Experience in the digital retailing space and in subscription / SaaS business models
\n
Great team player with respect for others, yet able to work independently
\n
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high performing team
\n
Proven excellence as an individual contributor in a Product Management role with a demonstrated ability to drive high-impact initiatives delivering meaningful business results
\n
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated ability to use numbers and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
\n
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong bias for action
\n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners
\n
Bachelors (BSc) degree required, Masters degree highly valued
