Job Purpose & Position Requirements
* We are looking for an experienced travel industry Account Manager.
* With previous experience in working for a B2B / B2C bedbank or similar within the Travel Industry.
* Build strong relationships with OTA, TO and TA.
* A professional, credible, confident, and enthusiastic with a proven track record of delivering success both Account Management and also Business Development.
* Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a multi-tasked, ever changing fast paced environment.
* A problem-solving individual that can turn a challenge into a win-win situation.
* Sound XML distribution knowledge.
On top of the above, it will also be required to proactively develop and maintain a robust prospect pipeline to continuously grow business that generate sales for the company.
Reporting – regular internal communication with Regional Manager and/or Head of Global Sales on progress, trends, challenges, successes and any other relevant information.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ years' of sales experience
* The right candidate will bring fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
* Advanced Excel and Power BI knowledge
Key Responsibilities
* Day to day management of the portfolio of accounts ensuring that their daily trading is constantly analysed, observed, and optimized (ensuring client engagement, mapping, product optimisation etc).
* To gain an in-depth understanding of all clients, their set up, their technology, their focus areas, in order to maximize opportunities & sales growth.
* To build strong and influential relationships with new and existing clients and IT houses to be able to create new sales opportunities.
* To finalise agreements, overrides and incentives as when necessary.
* To represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and some client events with a focus on raising the company profile and building awareness on our brand.
* Extensive travel to meet new and/or existing clients when needed.
* Act as point of contact between the clients and the different teams at the Head Office.
* To suggest solutions and bring innovative ideas.
* To deliver new clients, whilst looking after our existing clients in the market.
* Other duties as directed by the Regional Manager and/or Head of Global Sales.
