Business Development Manager: AI & Clinical Research (Medtech SaaS) About us: Legit.Health uses computer vision and AI to transform visible disease diagnosis, monitoring, and measurement. The company operates in clinical practice and clinical research, providing real‑time, standardised assessments that power safer triage, faster decisions, and scalable digital care. It is also a leading partner in dermatology trials, delivering automated, validated scoring systems that improve endpoint accuracy and accelerate trials.

About the role We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to lead business development and strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical and CRO sectors, with a special focus on clinical trials and the integration of AI‑based medical technologies in research workflows.

Key responsibilities

Identify, initiate, develop, and manage business opportunities with clients and partners.

Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for our AI‑powered medical device software products.

Build consultative relationships with key stakeholders (clinical operations, R&D;, innovation departments).

Understand client needs related to clinical trials and AI applications, translate them into tailored proposals.

Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.

Collaborate with internal teams (Clinical Science, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and client expectations.

Act as a bridge between the commercial team and clinical stakeholders, ensuring that our scientific and technical message is accurate and compelling.

Anticipate business risks, competitor movements, and regulatory trends in clinical research.

Represent Legit.Health at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

Provide regular and detailed reports on sales progress, forecasts, and strategies to senior management.

Collect client feedback to inform product and research strategy.

Qualifications & experience

5‑10 years of experience in business development or partnership roles, ideally within digital health, CROs, or pharma.

Minimum of 3 years working with CROs or clinical trials in Europe (US experience is a strong plus).

Ability to communicate complex scientific and technical concepts in a clear, compelling way.

Strong business acumen, exceptional negotiation skills, and a focus on closing deals.

Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and G Suite.

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with C‑level, R&D;, and medical teams.

Proven ability to manage relationships with clients and partners at the senior executive and director level.

Up‑to‑date knowledge of news, trends, and regulations in the healthcare sector.

“Can‑do” attitude, autonomy, discipline, motivation, energy, and a proactive, highly organized approach.

A team player capable of adapting to changes in a fast‑paced environment and of taking independent decisions after analysing the situation.

Flexible vacation policy: 23 working days per year + 2 additional days granted by the company (your anniversary and December 7th) + 2 days for company closure per labor agreement (December 24th and 31st).

Permanent contract.

Starting date: as soon as possible.

Competitive salary according to your experience.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Spanish, French, Portuguese, or other languages is a considered asset.
