At Kantox, we are looking for a Settlements Intern to join our Operations team and play a hands‑on role in one of the most critical functions of our business. You will be at the heart of our daily FX and payment operations, processing transactions, resolving banking queries, and supporting our shift toward a Tech‑First Ops model. This is not a passive internship. You will be expected to manage real operational workflows while actively contributing to the automation initiatives that are shaping the future of our department.
About the team
The Operations Team is the engine of Kantox. We process FX trades and payments for global clients. We are currently shifting from manual workflows to a "Tech-First" Ops model. We need an intern who can manage daily payments while building the automation that scales our department.

Your mission within Kantox
* Processing incoming and outgoing transactions and ensuring payments are released and processed without delays for our client.
* Assisting with bank enquiries and working closely with our banking partners to resolve settlement queries and other payment processing issues.
* Assist with Kantox collateral exposure and our clients margin call processing
* Recognize manual tasks and help turn them into automated, scalable workflows.
* Maintaining organised records and compiling data to assist in ad-hoc reporting requests.
Who you are
* You have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar
* General interest and enthusiasm for financial markets and banking systems
* Basic financial and operational risk management knowledge
* Experience with Technical Toolkit is considered a huge plus - (Python, Power BI, advanced Excel knowledge, familiarity with different AI tools etc.)
* Fluent English language skills;
* Strong teamworkand collaboration skills
* Ability to work accurately to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and prioritising deliverables
* Critical thinker, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational skills with stakeholder management
* Proactive and self-starting approach
